A Knox County work release inmate has been arrested for rape and other charges.
The Vincennes Police Department began the investigation on July 2nd alleging that 46-year-old Croydon A. Bowers was involved in an incident that happened at a Vincennes home while he was on work leave from work release.
The allegations led to a warrant and Bowers was arrested Thursday for criminal confinement, strangulation, sexua battery and rape.
Bowers was held on $75,000 cash bond pending appearance in Knox Circuit Court.
