A Vincennes woman was jailed overnight on drug charges.  City Police stopped a vehicle for improper headlights at midnight at Hart and US 41.  A K9 unit was requested.  A search turned up a plastic bag of meth.  The vehicle’s passenger, 30-year-old Kristina M. Cobb was taken to the Knox County Jail for possession of meth, a schedule 4 substance and a syringe.


 

A Washington man wanted on a warrant was arrested in Vincennes and his passenger was jailed for possession.

At 8:51-pm Friday, police saw 30-year -old Raymond A. Fannelly of Washington in the 2400 block of North 6th in Vincennes in a blue pickup.  The officer knew he was wanted in Knox County for invasion of privacy.

In the course of the traffic stop, a K9 was called in.  A passenger, 23-year-old Zachary Simmons of Vincennes, was found to be in possession of suspected meth.

Simmons was jailed on meth possession charges and was being held in the Knox County Jail on a $5000 bond.  Flannelly was being held on a $4000 on the warrant.
