A Texas man was jailed in Knox County after an incident at 1:17 this morning.  Vincennes police are reporting they were called to 2nd and Buntin where a vehicle had been in an accident and was stuck in gravel.  The driver of the truck was still in the vehicle and allegedly intoxicated.  He was taken to Good Sam and tested .284 blood alcohol content.  37 year old Orlando Barco was arrested for DUI,  driving while never licensed and having expired license plates.


In other arrests……

A Vincennes woman is facing numerous charges after attempting to flee police. 26-year-old Talia Nichole DeJarnett was arrested at 17th and Bayou Streets. Police say she had been involved in an accident with the vehicle she was driving.

DeJarnett is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reckless driving, resisting law enforcement and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. She is being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.

Vincennes Police arrested a local man last night on multiple drug charges 62-year-old Bradley Miller was arrested following a search of a residence in the 600-block of North Second Street. Police say Miller is charged with dealing in and possession of a controlled substance and criminal recklessness. He was booked into the Knox County Jail on 50-thousand dollars.
