Good Sam Beacon project almost done

Good Samaritan Hospital’s 110 million dollar Beacon Project is almost complete.
A new energy center and service support center is already finished, but the Gibault Memorial won’t be done until approximately the end of June.
Patients will be moved into these new buildings in late July.
A fourth construction on Good Samaritan Hospital is the seven story renovation of Columbian tower which should be completed in June of 2016.

 


 

Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors has approved the sale of the Samaritan Center Building in Petersburg.

Good Samaritan Hospital has utilized the structure for the past 20 years, but with the move to a new building, they were able to offer the structure for sale.

John Manning, G-S-H’s Vice President of Behavioral Health and Special Projects said they received two bids for the building and took up an offer from the city of Petersburg.

 

The final sale will be effective within the next 30 days.


Pike County residents can now receive medical care at the Petersburg Medical Center located at the new Downtown Terrace on Main in Petersburg.  The center is open from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday.  Dr. Fenol, Dr. tong and Nurse Practitioner Jamie Truelove are  moving their practices into the new location.  Radiology services will be available.  Also on site is the Samaritan Center offiering child and adolcescent therapists, clinical psychologists and nurse practitioners.
