VU gets 3rd at the Soil Judging Nationals

The Vincennes University Soil Judging Team placed third in the National
Soil Judging Contest on April 10 in Moline, Illinois.
The contest includes
judging four soil pits by describing the various soil horizons and
properties.
Randy Staley, the team’s coach and an instructor of Earth Science at VU called in an an excellent job by the team which represented the University very well he says.
In addition to the competition, the students also toured the world
headquarters of John Deere.
