HEAVY LOADS CONTINUE MOVE SATURDAY

The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that the third and final convoy of oversized loads heading from Mt Vernon Indiana to the Marathon Refinery in Robinson has the next leg of the journey Saturday. The loads will travel up Illinois Route 130 from Grayville to Albion and then from Albion to Olney. They will spend overnight Saturday through Sunday in Olney before resuming the next leg Monday. The loads will travel then from Olney to Noble on U.S. 50 and then back to Olney on Route 250 Monday morning and then move north on Route 130 to Newton and east on Route 33 to Robinson Monday afternoon. Motorists traveling in the areas of the move are reminded to be alert to possible travel delays.
