The City of Lawrenceville will have a new mayor in the future. Incumbent two term Mayor Don Wagner announced in an interview with WAKO that he will not run for re-election. Wagner says that he is 76 years old and is looking to spend more time traveling and fishing after his current stint in office is over. The Mayor says the city is in pretty good shape and it is time for another younger person with different ideas to lead the city.
