The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Boys and Girls Cross Country teams made their debut Tuesday at the multi-team Fairfield Invitational. Richland County won the girls meet with 35 points followed by Newton with 60 and Hamilton County with 77. There were only 3 local girls competing–Ophelia Klein was 5th in 21:48, Katie Moore 7th in 22:05, and Cara Eagleson 17th at 23:46. The boys meet was won by Richland County with 35 points followed by Hamilton County with 67, Newton with 107, Mt Carmel with 115, Fairfield with 121, and the Indians with 124. The top finisher for the Lville-Red Hill squad was Brayden Green who was 3rd in 16:40. The next meet is on Wednesday September 3rd when the Indians run at a multi-team meet at Robinson.
