BASEBALL INDIANS LOSE BIG TO PARIS

After picking up their first win of the season Wednesday the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians lost a lopsided contest Thursday at Unit 20 Ballpark to the visiting Paris Tigers 11-1 in 7 innings. The Tigers broke a 1-1 tie with 2 runs in the fourth, 1 in the fifth, 4 in the sixth and 3 in the seventh. Paris scored their 11 runs on 9 hits and had 1 error while the Tribe scored 1 run on 5 hits and committed 2 errors. Eli Ivers had two of the five hits and Connor O’Dell drove in the only Indian run in the first. Ethan Kelly took the pitching loss. The Indians are now 1-4 and will head to Fairfield for action Monday.
