The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Knox County Thursday afternoon. The tornado had speeds of 75 miles per hour, and the path length was at least 5 miles. It hit south of Vincennes in the Bandmill and St. Thomas Roads area in Knox County. There were no injuries reported, but high winds did a lot of damage to several properties. The high winds also turned over a truck on US 41, damaged agricultural irrigation systems, and downed power lines. Scepter Road between SR 67 and Windmill Road is closed until repairs can be made due to the winds and flood waters.
