Lawrenceville Man Sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court

   Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that a Lawrenceville man was sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 34 year-old Adam J. Harrington of Lawrenceville was re-sentenced to two-and-a-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.  Harrington had previously been placed on two years of felony probation; but admitted to violating the terms of his probation by providing drug screens that tested positive for meth. Harrington’s prison sentence will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release.  Harrington is also required to pay fines as well as court costs.
