CUBS WIN BIG GAME OVER BREWERS BEHIND QUINTANA

Victor Caratini drove in two runs to back the solid pitching of Jose Quintana Tuesday night at Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs won a big game 3-0 over the Milwaukee Brewers to extend their NL Central lead to 2 games. The  veteran lefthander struck out seven and walked two in 6 and 2/3rds to win his second straight game against the Brewers in a week. Justin Wilson struck out pinch-hitter Manny Pina with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh to keep the Cubs on top. Jorge De La Rosa pitched the eighth and Pedro Strop finished the shutout with his 13th save. The third and rubber game of the three game series is Thursday night with Chase Anderson (9-7) going for Milwaukee and Kyle Hendricks (11-10) for the Cubs.
