Anna Mae (Redmen) Webster, age 89 formerly of Sumner, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Lawrenceville at the United Methodist Village-South Campus. She was born on July 3, 1928 to Theodore and Mary (Creech) Redmen.

On November 4, 1959, Anna married Noble Webster. They enjoyed 31 years of marriage together. Noble preceded her in death in July of 1991.

Anna Mae was a very active member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Lukin and the Sumner Congregation Christian Church. She was a member of the Ladies Fellowship group, helped with vacation bible school, and took on the role of Sunday School Superintendent.

She was a hard-working farmer’s wife, dedicated homemaker and a loving Mother and Grandmother. Anna Mae enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, singing and rocking babies.

Surviving family includes: three daughters- Rita Faye Eckel and husband Earl of Sumner, Jeanie Lynn Cannon and husband Brad of Fithian, and Karen Kay Brunsvold and husband Anthony of St. Peters, MO; two sons- Matthew Alan Webster of Sumner and Mark Travis Webster and wife Julie of Sumner; eleven grandchildren- Katrina Dunlap and husband Eric, Aaron James, Hannah Brunsvold, Elijah Brunsvold, Tara Kaye Skipworth and husband Nathan, Bronte Webster, Kaleb Withrow, Bryton Withrow, Catherine Webster, Cody Webster, and Justin Tedrow and wife Savannah; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews..

She was preceded in death by: her parents- Theodore and Mary Redmen: husband- Noble Webster: two granddaughters- Caitlyn Webster and Amber Webster: one grandson- Parker Webster: one sister- Betty Jean Steber: and one niece- Rosey (Steber) Hahn.

A funeral service for Anna Mae Webster will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Bridgeport at the Cunningham Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Bridgeport City Cemetery next to her husband.
