Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that three people were sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 41 year-old Jesse Boatright of Bridgeport was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of domestic battery. That will be followed by four years of mandatory supervised release. Boatright is also required to court costs.
32 year-old Ashley Boyer of Lawrenceville was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of a methamphetamine. That will be followed by one year of parole. Boyer is also required to pay a drug assessment fee as well as court costs.
35 year-old Brittany Elmore of Olney was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of a contraband in a penal institution. That will be followed by two years of parole. Elmore is also required to pay a drug assessment fee as well as court costs.
