The duo of Zach Burger and Bryce Krabel combined for 38 points Friday night to lead the Paris Tigers to a 51-49 win over the Lawrenceville Indians at Paris. The hosts trailed by 1 at the half to the Tribe but used a strong 3rd quarter led by the Tiger seniors to lead 36-30 after three. The Indians rallied in the see-saw fourth quarter after falling behind by 10 but came up short. The Indians were led by Jordan Jones with 13 and Blayne Winningham with 11. Burger had 22 to lead all scorers and Krabel added 16. The Indian JV closed their season with a 45-35 win over the Tigers led by Noah Weger with 10. With the loss, the Indians end the regular season with a 5-20 mark- 1-7 in conference play. They are back in action Monday night in their Class 2A regional at 7 p.m. against arch-rival Red Hill.
