A Sumner man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County this morning. Justin Tedrow was driving west on Illinois State Route 250 in Bridgeport Township when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle left the north side of the roadway. It struck a ditch, a residential mailbox and a driveway culvert before going airborne. The vehicle then hit another residential mailbox before coming to rest in a ditch. Tedrow was injured and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.
