The auditorium is set to receive state of the art, LED stage lighting this coming winter.

North Knox Superintendent Darrel Bobe says the new lighting is a necessary improvement.

The lighting will be installed during the month of January, as there is nothing scheduled to take place during that time.

The school board voted to hire Indianapolis Stage Sales and Rentals Inc. to do the work to cost about 110-thousand dollars.

The auditorium is often used for different art programs at the school, and Bobe says this new lighting will help enhance those and other events.
