Meal prices in the North Daviess School cafeterias will remain the same for the next school year.
According to a report by Lindsay Owens, in the Washington Times-Herald, North Daviess has received a waiver from the U.S. Department of Education. North Daviess Superintendent Bob Bell recommended that the North Daviess board keep student meal prices at the same level as last year: $1.25 for breakfast, $2.20 for elementary lunch, and $2.35 for lunch at the jr/sr high school. The North Daviess School Board also approved book rental fees for the 2016-2017 school year which will begin on August 10. Registration for students new to the North Daviess system will be on August 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
