Doris Ruth “Faught” Gognat 91, formerly of Billet, IL passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. Doris was born on June 29, 1924, In Bruceville IN, the daughter of John Faught and Grace “Dellinger” Faught. She worked at Brown Shoe Factory before she was married and after she was a homemaker and worked on the family farm with her husband, Julius. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
Doris was preceeded in death by her husband, two brothers, Merlin Faught, John Faught Jr. and two sisters, Donna Jones and Lucille Ferguson.
Friends may visit with the family Monday, September 28, 2015 from 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM (EST) at Fredrick and Son Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetary in St. Francisville, IL Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
