Pain Management now available at LCMH

  • The Pain Management Group is now providing pain management at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.
  • Some of the services they will offer are: Epidural steroid injections, Facet joint injections, Selective nerve root blocks, and Radiofrequency ablations.
  • Dr. Andrew Kalin is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and fellowship trained in pain medicine. He has been practicing pain management for almost 10 years. He recently said, “For me, I truly enjoy the practice of pain management, as it allows me the ability to take the time to get to know my patients, listen to them, and understand their pain and work with them to help provide them relief and improve the quality of life.
  • At LCMH, you will find the staff that is very professional yet caring, warm and friendly.
  • Dr. Kalin says, “I get tremendous satisfaction from working with patients to “figure out” their source of pain, and then ultimately work with them to improve their pain and restore quality of life.”
  • After understanding the nature of the patient’s pain, he believes that that pain is not always treated with a narrow focus solely on medication or needles or scalpels.  He believes that each patient deserves and requires a uniquely tailored treatment plan that uses multi-modal, balanced, evidenced based treatments that begin with the most conservative treatments first and lead to more advanced approaches as necessary.
