Vincennes Police report that a local man was charged with multiple offenses after his arrest at Gregg Park Wednesday. 37 year old Michael Oliver was discovered at the park after a call was made to authorities about his behavior. Oliver became combative as officers attempted to take him into custody and spat on them and resisted. He has been charged preliminarily with Criminal Trespass, Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery on a Public Official with Bodily Waste and Parole Violation. He was booked into the Knox County Jail and was being held pending bond.
