A wanted Lawrence County woman was taken into custody along with a wanted southern Indiana man after a traffic stop in Mt Carmel. Mt Carmel Police report that they made a stop of a Nissan passenger vehicle at 9th and Mulberry Streets. During an identification check, it was discovered that two passengers in the auto were wanted on arrest warrants-35 year old Madison Pennington of Lawrenceville for Failure to Appear in Richland County and 35 Charles Brown of Evansville for a Kentucky Probation Violation. Both were taken to the Wabash County Jail in Mt Carmel for extradition. The driver of the Nissan was cited for Driving with an Expired Registration and released.
