The Bridgeport City Council met Tuesday night in regular session at City Hall. Mayor Tyler Griffin indicated that two more dilapidated homes are under order to be torn down in the future after the proper legal steps were taken by the city. The mayor also reported some problems with regard to the rental policies and rates charged for city-owned buildings such as the Pavilion at Lanterman Park and the W.B. Gray Building uptown. More study and discussion will occur on any proposed changes or increases in the future by the council. They did enter into an executive session to deal with employee personnel policies, but emerged and took no action.
