A Vincennes woman was charged with multiple offenses after her arrest following a high speed chase with police in Vincennes. The Knox County Sheriffs Department reports that units pursued a vehicle being driven by 55 year old Michelle Williams into the downtown area. The Williams vehicle crashed into the closed Lincoln Memorial Bridge twice before she was taken into custody. Williams was preliminarily charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated-Endangerment, Operation of a Vehicle While Impaired, Criminal Recklessness, Criminal Mischief and Reckless Driving. She was taken to the Knox County Jail and was being held there on $5000 bond.
