Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District along with the Lawrence County Sheriffs Department and Lawrence County Ambulance Service responded Sunday afternoon to a single vehicle rollover accident north of Lawrenceville. Around 12:30 p.m. personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Illinois Route 1 and Pinkstaff Lane and found upon arrival 2 occupants trapped upside down inside the vehicle in a ditch. Both were extricated from the wreckage and were flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Investigation is continuing into the accident and the names of those injured and their conditions have yet to be released.
