Colin ‘Bud’ H. Shick, age 75, of Robinson, Illinois passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Willow Manor in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on November 14, 1947 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of William and Ivy (Polk) Shick. He married Cindy Badgley on June 05, 1970, and she survives.
Bud served his country in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance for the United States Postal Service at the Lawrenceville location for 20 years. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, woodworking, antiquing, as well as spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Mitzi. He was a member of the Sumner Free Methodist Church and attended the Birds Free Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Donna Buchanan; and one nephew, Mike Buchanan.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; two sons, William ‘Bill’ Shick and wife, Janice and Don Shick all of Robinson, Illinois; and six grandchildren, Jacob Shick, Noah Shick, Elijah Shick, Brandon Shick, Shea Shick, and Anthony Shick.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 12:00 CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Willow Manor Alzheimer’s Unit or the Birds Free Methodist Church.
