The Vincennes Police Department has now released more information on the shooting incident late last week in the city and identified the still wanted suspect. The shooting occurred Friday in the 1000 block of North 14th Street with one victim suffering two gunshot wounds. The unidentified victim was initially taken to Good Samaritan Hospital In Vincennes and later transferred to an Evansville hospital. An arrest warrant has been issued for 31 year old Shawn Curtis Carter-Mincey for Aggravated Battery, a Level 3 Indiana Felony. He was last seen driving away from the shooting location in a white 2011 GMC Sierra truck with Indiana registration BD 111. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Carter-Mincey is asked to contact the nearest law enforcement authority or the Vincennes Police Department.
