The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon for the WAKO listening area. Heavy snow is possible to occur from a strong system moving into the region. Accumulations anywhere from 4 to 6 inches is possible, but there is still uncertainty for the location of the heaviest of the snow. Locations south of Interstate 70 could receive lower accumulations due to a mix of rain and snow if the storm tracks farther to the north. Keep tuned to WAKO for the latest in weather information.
