The new Miss Illinois County Fair Queen is from southeastern Illinois. Miss Clay County Paige Van Dyke of Louisville was crowned Sunday night in the finals of the pageant held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield. She was selected by the judges from 73 contestants from around the state. She is the first queen from Clay County to be chosen as Miss Illinois County Fair. The first runner up in the competition was Miss Edgar County, second runner up was Miss Union County and the third runner up was Miss Perry County.
