The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced that now through April 15th, county highways will be posted and the 8 ton weight limit will be enforced. The County Highway Engineer can allow over 8 tons at designated times dependent on weather conditions. Anyone wishing to travel on township roads will need to check with the respective Township Road Commissioner to check on road postings and to get permission to run.
