Beverly Ann Tussey

Beverly Ann Tussey, 86 of Vincennes, passed away December 19, 2022, at IU Health Arnett, Lafayette, IN surrounded by her children.

She was born May 7, 1936, in St. Francisville, Illinois to Woodrow and Lorene (Calvin) Ice. Beverly married Kenneth Ray Tussey on December 8, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 4, 1981.

Beverly was a graduate of St. Francisville High School and attended Good Samaritan School of Nursing where she obtained her Registered Nurse Degree. She retired from St. Anthony Hospital in Dyer, Indiana after many years of service.

Beverly was very involved in her church, St. John’s United Church of Christ, she was an active member of the Women’s Guild, volunteered with Kid’s Hope, Loaves and Fishes and helped with the bereavement dinners. She loved to travel, and enjoyed line dancing, camping, gardening, crafting, scrapbooking and making cards. Her true passion was being involved in her children, grandchildren and great grandchild’s lives. She loved to attend her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, because she was surrounded by her family and to celebrate the faith she loved so much.

Surviving are her children, Jeff Tussey and his wife Carol of Vincennes, Brian Tussey and his wife Justine of New Hampshire, and daughter Terri Frizzi and her husband Mark of Lafayette, her brother Larry Joe Ice and wife Becky of Lawrenceville, Il, grandchildren, Kenneth Tussey and wife Cassie, Calvin Tussey and wife Jordan, Jessica Bennett and husband Matthew, Dylan Tussey, Kristina Kirby, Tyler Frizzi and wife Alaina, Trey Tussey, great grandchildren, Emma Tussey, Woodrow Tussey, Avery Bennett, Myla Bennett, Evelyn Tussey, Eva Bennett and Tate Frizzi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brother Keith Ice and sister Patricia Hoh.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm (EST) on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. John United Church of Christ, 606 North 5th Street, Vincennes with Reverend Dennis Frische-Mouri officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am (EST) until the service time. She will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Cemetery in St. Francisville, Il. Cunningham Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
