The Good Samaritan Physician Network has named Family Practice Physician Dr. Kristen Mahan as the 2022 Physician of the Year. She will recieve the SAMMIE (Samaritan Award for Meritorious Medical Care with Integrity and Excellence). The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional skills in clinical practice and who uphold the mission, vision and values of Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Mahan has been on medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital for 20 years and has served as Director of Convienient Care and Director of Hospice since 2020. She is also credited with starting the Walk with a Doc program on Saturday mornings in Vincennes.
