The Red Hill Unit 10 Board of Education met Thursday night in Bridgeport. They did approve a bid for $19,900 for HVAC system upgrades which will affect all district buildings by allowing central control of building systems in case of needed repairs. Also approved was a bid of around $158,000 for repair and replacement work on the doors at Red Hill Jr/Sr High School. The HVAC work is expected to begin over the upcoming Christmas holiday break while the door project is expected to begin in late spring or early summer. The board also approved the tenative tax levy numbers and will formally approve the final numbers in December. A Red Hill High School graduation date was also set after lengthy discussion– Sunday May 21st at 4 p.m.
