Billie Nelson Pavitt, Jr., age 64, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born on August 19, 1958 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Billie Nelson Pavitt, Sr. and Virginia Lee (Blacketer) Pavitt. He married Malinda ‘Mindy’ Hitt on August 02, 2008.

Billie previously worked for Gray’s Cabinet Company in St. Francisville, and retired after working for 20 years for Wabash Plumbing in Vincennes. He was a volunteer fireman for the Denison Fire Protection District. He attended the Christian Church in St. Francisville as a child, where he later became a member and served as a deacon and an elder. His devotion to his church family and God were noticeable in the daily reading of his Bible. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, and he won championships in trap shooting. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Family includes his wife, Mindy; three children, Adam Crane and wife, Brittany of Evansville, Indiana, Ally Biggs and husband, Cody of Vincennes, Indiana, and Haley Stryzinski and fiancé, Melvin Heath of Evansville, Indiana; one brother, Mark Pavitt and fiancé, Tabatha Lehman of Vincennes, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Brayden, Addalyn, Evelyn, Blaire, and Phoenix.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM CST at the Christian Church, located at 720 Main Street in St. Francisville, Illinois 62460. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM CST at the church. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
