The Lawrenceville City Council met in regular session Thursday night at City Hall. They approved an ordinance for property transfer in order to aqquire properties at 308 and 310 Lexington Avenue. The properties will now be designated for demolition as part of the city’s continued efforts to rid itself of run down properties and buildings. The council approved the annual Tax Levy ordinance of $562,250-a 4.9% increase from the previous year and property and liability insurance coverages. The council also moved to take under advisement and review the city residential water service policies including service shutoffs and payment extensions. The move was made after they heard public comments and received signed petitions regarding the matter.
