A problematic traffic intersection in Knox County Indiana will be the subject of a public open house discussion Thursday November 10th. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is planning to construct a Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) on U.S. 41 at Elkhorn Road south of Vincennes. The proposed project would involve the construction of a median U-Turn in order to improve safety with additional lighting also planned at the location. The open house is set for 5 until 7 p.m. ET at the INDOT Vincennes office also south of Vincennes to explain the planning. INDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions and take public comments and provide video and graphic presentations.
