IDOT REBUILD ILLINOIS MONEY

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced this week that the sixth and final $250 million installment of the Rebuild Illinois capital program is being made to counties, municipalities and townships to address local transportation needs. Projects include road and bridge improvements, traffic signal upgrades, sidewalk replacements and others. According to IDOT Rebuild Illinois figures for Lawrence County-the county itself will get over $91,000 for it’s use. Townships will get over $289,000 total-Allison-$22,800, Bond-$28,000, Bridgeport-$14,500, Christy-$31,500, Denison-$44,800, Lawrence-$36,400, Lukin-$38,800, Petty-$49,000 and Russell-$23,400. Municipalities in the county will get around $112,000-Bridgeport-$20,700, Lawrenceville-$47,700, Russellville-$1,000, St Francisville-$7,600 and Sumner-$34,800
