The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for the entire WAKO listening area from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. CDT Saturday. Temperatures during the period are expected to dip as low as 32 degrees which will result in frost formation in Lawrence, Knox and surrounding counties. The frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered. People should take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.
