The Lawrence Public Library Board met Tuesday evening at the library in downtown Lawrenceville. After holding a public hearing on it’s proposed Fiscal Year 2023 Budget, the board then in regular session did approve the over $420,000 spending plan to operate the facility and enacted an appropriation ordinance governing that budget. The budget does include an extra $100,000 in contingency money for some planned winter projects at the library such as inside lighting and ceiling improvements and the installation of security cameras.
