Lawrence Unit 20 officials have informed WAKO News that Lawrenceville High School (LHS) was evacuated of students and staff after administration at the school were advised and made aware of a potential situation Wednesday afternoon during the first day of student attendence at the location. After law enforcement authorities and district administrative officials were notified, a subsequent investigation indicated no threat and the all clear was given with students and staff allowed back in. The remainder of the initial day schedule resumed at the school without incident.
