The Board of Trustees of the Illinois Eastern Community College (IECC) District #529 adopted an operating fund budget of over $35 million for fiscal year 2022-23 at it’s regular session Tuesday at Frontier Community College in Fairfield. The action came after a public hearing on the spending plan. It includes over $30 million in the Education Fund and over $4 million in the Operations and Maintenence Fund. Those are the two principal operating funds for the district. The board also received positive enrollment information. The summer 2022 enrollment figures were up just over 6.5% and the pre-fall term enrollment 2022 numbers are up almost 4%.
