Mark Amel Evans, age 61 of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 9:05 p.m. in Deaconess Hospital. He was born June 22, 1961 in Hammond, IN to Vernon and Virginia (Ash) Evans.
Mark had gotten his degree in Automotive Mechanics from Olney Central College in 1989.
He enjoyed music and spending time with his family and friends.
Mark is survived by: his girlfriend- Tina Plummer: mother-Virginia Evans: two sisters- Gina Murray and Tiffany Aiken: and his brother- Vernon Evans, Jr. He is also survived by two sons that he fathered with Glenda Coker: Nicholas Daniel Evans, 34, and Aaron Mark Evans, 39, and his wife Tiffany D. (Biehl) Evans. Aaron gave Mark three grandchildren as well: Kalissa Evans, Aaron M. Evans, Jr., and Ethen Evans.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Evans, and a sister, Reatha Alexander.
A celebration of life at Bridgeport City Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. Cunningham Funeral Home is assisting the family.
