The Illinois State Fair kicks off it’s 2022 run Thursday at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield with new attractions and a freeze on entrance prices, which are the same as 2021. Friday, local Lawrence County 4-H members who earned state fair ribbons at the recent Lawrence County Junior and 4-H Fair will show their projects.
