Officials with the Birds-Pinkstaff Water District have informed WAKO News that the boil order that had been issued last Thursday August 21st has now been lifted. That boil order was for customers east of Illinois Route 1 to County Road 1400 East (Riddleville Road) on County Road 1800 North (Birds Lane). Again, the boil order has been lifted.
