The National Weather Services has issued a Flood Watch from this evening through Tuesday morning for the entire WAKO listening area. More rain is forecast to develop late Monday with rainfall amounts of an additional 1 to 3 inches possible across the watch area into Tuesday. This, combined with heavy rains in the past 24 hours will lead to over-saturated ground with water running into creeks and streams causing them to rise out of their banks. Low water road crossings and other flood prone areas may be covered by water.
