The National Weather Service says that the Heat Advisory continues for the entire WAKO listening area this weekend. They are forecasting high temperatures in the mid 90s to combine with high humidity levels to produce heat indices ranging from 105 to 110 degrees. These types of temperatures can cause heat illness or heat stroke for those outside in the direct sun for long periods of time. Use extreme caution if venturing outdoors especially during the late afternoon and early evening hours.
