The Lawrence Public Library Board met in regular monthly session Tuesday evening at the library in downtown Lawrenceville. They received a recap of the Summer Kids Reading Program from Head Librarian/Library Director Diane Brumley. She indicated that it was tremendously successful with participation up after not having the popular program for two years due to COVID-19 and thanked all those involved including the Friends of the Library for their efforts and involvement. The board did approve the adoption of the annual tax levy ordinance for district building and maintenence. Two committee meeting dates were set-Thursday August 4th for the Personnel Committee and Tuesday August 9th for the Finance Committee to discuss the 2023 Fiscal Year Budget.
