LAWRENCE COUNTY 4TH CELEBRATIONS

There are plenty of 4th of July holiday celebrations with fireworks displays here in Lawrence County this weekend. Friday, the City of Bridgeport along with Aperion Care will host activities at Leigh Ann Westall Field including balloon art, face painting, food vending and more starting at 6 p.m. with a fireworks display at dusk. Saturday, July 2nd, the annual St Francisville Fish Fry and Fireworks will occur at River Park. There will be a softball tournament starting at 8 a.m. with breakfast available, the fish fry begins at 11 at River Park with fish sandwiches, hamburgers and other items or sale, musical entertainment begins at 5:30 and the fireworks display is set for dusk on the river. Sunday July 3rd, the city of Lawrenceville and the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host a parade beginning at 6 p.m. with lineup at 5 p.m. Following the parade, the Chamber will sponsor tailgaiting with food vending and activities for young and old alike at the parking lot at Ed Loeb Field. The city sponsored fireworks display begins at dusk at Lawrenceville High School. On Monday July 4th, the city of Sumner will host a fireworks display at dusk at the city ballpark with Dairy Dee on hand at 7 p.m. with food and cool treats for sale. All are invited to attend.
