Fire destroyed two buildings Friday at 10th and Main Streets in Vincennes. City fire officials indicate that the blaze began on the second floor of the building facing Main and then spread to the building to the rear. Both buildings were owned by Dan Primus and were undergoing renovation work. Multiple firefighting units were dispatched in mutual aid to fight the fire. There were no reported injuries. The Indiana State Fire Marshall has been called in to assist local authorities in the investigation of the cause.
