The 45th Spirit of Vincennes Rendevous is this Memorial Day weekend on the grounds of the French Commons at Second and Willow Streets behind the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park. Those attending on Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th will get a glimpse of what life was like in the Vincennes area in the 18th century. There were be authentic merchant and food booths on the grounds and visitors can stroll through the various encampments and interact with re-enactor members of the Northwest Territory Alliance. Authentic battle re-enactments will be held each day and there will be other entertainment and activities. Adult admission is $10 per day at the gate with children 6-12 $2. Buttons good for both days are $15. Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. ET and Sunday hours from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. ET. Visit www.spiritofvincennes.org for additional information.
